The mission of St. Augustine High School Sports Medicine is to provide high quality healthcare to student-athletes while nurturing their development of mind, heart, and body. The health, safety, and well-being of our student-athletes is our highest priority.
The purpose of St. Augustine High School Sports Medicine is the prevention, assessment, and treatment of injury and illness. We are dedicated to improving clinical skills, equipment, and rehabilitation techniques to ensure our student-athletes have a safe and efficient return to sport following injury. Our staff demonstrates the professional values of the NATA Code of Ethics and act in the Augustinian values of Unity, Truth, and Love.
We foster relationships with parents, coaches, and other healthcare professionals as part of a Sports Medicine Team approach to healthcare. We collaborate with the strength and conditioning staff to safely prepare athletes for the demands of sport, prevent injuries, and improve sport performance. Our goal is to promote life-long, mental, and physical health for our students while being an integral asset to St. Augustine High School Athletics.
The Athletic Training Facility is located in the Saints Commons Building, in Room 434, next to the Coaches Bull Pen Office and accessible from the Outdoor Faculty Parking Lot.
